World Day of Prayer 2021

March 5, 2021 - Vanuatu

As host for area churches in 2021, St Andrew's Anglican Church, Calgary will be holding a virtual (Zoom) meeting to view the one hour service video prepared by the women of Vanuatu and the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada (WICC) on Friday, March 5 at 1:00 pm MST. The video will be followed by discussion and fellowship. All are welcome to join us. Please contact Susan for Zoom details. Service Times

Sundays at 10 a.m. - Alternatively, either Eucharist or Morning Prayer (BAS). All are welcome to our services, and to join us for coffee and refreshments afterward.

NOTE: The Parishes of St. Cyprian's, Lacombe and St. John's, Olds, serve the wine at Eucharist from the common cup. If this is uncomfortable for you, please know that you can accept the wafer of bread and then simply touch the base of the chalice of wine, and be deemed to have received the sacrament in both kinds.

Masks are optional, and a matter of personal choice, including during corporate singing. Hand sanitizer is available for those who wish to cleanse their hands prior to taking the Eucharist.

Please continue in prayer for leaders at all levels, facing difficult decisions every day, for all on the front lines of health care and emergency response, for all facing illness of any kind, and/or grieving the loss of loved ones for any reason.
